一出歌剧的男主角正在熙熙攘攘的咖啡馆里悠闲地喝茶，突然发现演出时间将至，连忙结账，却慌张中撞翻了旁边的桌子，走到外面更将两个小贩的摊子撞翻。为了赶时间，他租了路旁的汽车，司机好半天才将车子发动起来，然而却被警察以疏通交通的名义拦截。男主角只好拦截了另一辆车，风风火火赶往剧院。好不容易抵达剧院，他一路飞奔，撞翻了检票人、剧务和其他演员，匆匆赶入化妆间，在剧场经理和演员们的聒噪催促中手忙脚乱换上衣服，周围人的吵闹令男主角的心情烦躁，他大发雷霆，将众人赶出房间，经理也在紧张的准备之后瘫软在地……

今回参加するのは、企画の存在を知ってから自身の監督作を想像していたという高良、ミュージックビデオの監督経験がある玉木、大学で舞踊学を専攻しダンサーの顔も持つ土屋、子役の頃から数々の撮影現場を経験してきた中川、狂言師であり舞台演出も手がける萬斎という面々だ。全員が映画監督の挑戦は初めて。5人が初監督への意気込みを語ったコメントは下記に掲載した。制作プロダクションは第1弾から引き続き「百円の恋」「ビジランテ」「犬猿」などで知られるスタジオブルーが担う。
